Amy is a writer, producer, and creative tinkerer of many stripes (although personally, she’s always preferred polka dots). She’s queer and nerdy and endlessly curious.
From TV to stageplays to immersive theater, Amy always has at least a few irons in the fire. If you forced her to choose a favorite medium, though, she would absolutely choose audio. She’s created several podcasts of her own, loves helping other people bring their podcasts to life, and she’s maybe a little bit obsessed with Adobe Audition. In 2019, Amy was one of 3 finalists for a podcast-writing competition through the SyFy Channel.
Originally from the great snowy plains of Minnesota, Amy earned her MFA from Northwestern University in 2013 and has been weirding it up in California ever since. She’s had a variety of interesting day jobs since moving to LA, from AMC’s Preacher to the LA Philharmonic, but these days she works for political nonprofit Red Wine & Blue producing their podcast “The Suburban Women Problem.”
Give your dog a hug for her.
